Editorial

How we review our content.

Medical information has to be right. This is how the content in the 420doc magazine, glossary and guides is made.

Who writes

The content is created by the 420doc editorial team. For research and drafts we also use digital tools, including AI. We only publish what has been checked against sources.

Medical review

Licensed doctors review medical content. Once that has happened, the page shows “Medically reviewed on” with a date. If it says “Editorially reviewed on”, the medical review is not yet complete.

We deliberately do not name doctors on public pages.

Sources

Every figure, study and legal statement is backed by a source. We prefer primary sources: legal texts, authorities such as the BfArM, the Federal Ministry of Health and the Bundestag, medical guidelines and studies in scientific journals. Sources are listed at the end of every page.

Information, not advertising

We provide balanced information on benefits and risks. We make no promises of cure, give no dosing recommendations and do not advertise medicines, manufacturers or strains.

Whether a treatment is suitable is decided only by the treating doctor in each individual case. A prescription is never guaranteed.

Up to date

Every page shows when it was last updated. We revise legal topics as soon as laws or rules change, and all other content at regular intervals.
